We at school generally prefer to take the assessments as per the schedule. Sometimes, I do ask questions to the students after completing the topic. But it is not done in the organised form nor I keep the record of it. But certaily we need reform in our assessment system so that the real assessment of the students can be kept formally.

Lastly according to the board of education assessment is done to correct their mistakes and enhance their learning. I think the existing assessment strategies are enough to assess the learning of students.
