  11. Covid19 has been the most difficult and trying times for the entire human race. As a mentor I had to go through the same. It was indeed a painstaking task to keep pace with the situation aswell as the student fraternity. However I kept in touch with the students through Google meet and Teachmint. Explanation with the help of live board, and PPT were few of the methods used by me. Providing them with study materials and worksheets in the whatsapp group was also done.I also made videos and uploaded them in YouTube for them to view and understand and in this way understanding for them was much more convenient.Personally I tried to keep in touch with the students over the phone and helped them whenever and wherever they required. Had to be a constant guide and friend to them inorder to help them cope with this stressful situation. This journey so far have been a learning experience for both mentors and students.

During the pendemic I started taking online classes. Many students were deprived of smartphone. So I tried to call them on simple phone they had and enquire about their studies.I cleared their doubts if any and consoled their distress.I made a dairy in which I recorded the names of the children to whom I had a talk about the studies. I called and enquired about their studies in rotation. The recorded data in the dairy was of great help. I made notes to teach them in short and easy way.
I had to learn many things about using a smart phone and it's applications to become a smart teacher.I also developed online quizes for students to take test,so that their progress of learning could be recorded and analysed.
