FLN Course -04 Activity-03 : Share your reflections

Think constructively on the following points: How often do you organize PTMs? What kind of discussion do you generally do with parents? Have you tried to explore how best they can help you and the school to work more effectively? Have you also tried to think about the general concerns of the parents and what could be the solutions from your side and/or from the school? Ponder over these questions with a creative and problem-solving mind and share your reflections.

  1. We conduct parent teachers meeting quite often. Discuss various issues that we face on a daily basis in our school with students. We try tu to make parents realise that they can play a vital role in helping their children do better in the class. This has actually helped children in performing better in exams and in the school on the whole

  2. We conduct parents teachers meeting every month end. Discuss about children's learning about languages and fundamental of mathematics, meeting message should be installed in parents and children. They should always get touched with school s family for better teaching intercoopers and constructive outcomes of children.

  3. We conduct PTM every month on 25.We discuss about students progress and thier regression. We request parents to send their ward daily. We ask for some suggestions for students advancement. We ask parents what they want as to do for their child upliftment. We request them to check their homeworks and guide them at home.

  4. Parents teacher meetings are conducted oftenlly in the school.we discuss students progress and their weak points with parents.There are various things that can be improved eiwi the help of parents involvement.

  5. Parent-Teacher meeting is an important step of formal educational process. We usually discuss regarding the progress of our children and other aspects of educational system.

  6. A teacher tries to benefitted all students of his class. But he feels some students are not getting as he(teacher) thinks. A sensible teacher tries to find out the causes. He discusses with parents. When both stakeholders try in their own areas ,result will be positive and encouraging.

  7. PTMs help schools to know the progress of the child by knowing the overall behavior of the child.
